BASW England releases new Domestic Abuse Guidance for social workers
© Copyright LexisNexis 2024. All rights reserved.
BASW England is pleased to announce the launch of new guidance for child and family social workers supporting victim-survivors of domestic abuse.
The guidance is aimed at social workers within the remit of children’s services in England, who carry out the critical work of supporting domestic abuse victims/survivors which includes children. BASW understands that social workers are time-pressed; juggling competing demands of caseloads means that time for research and training is often scarce.
