Family Law Awards TrophyThe deadline for the family law community to vote for their favourite ADR Practitioner and Family Law commentary is midnight tonight. To vote, visit familylawawards.com/vote.

The short-list and winners of six of the awards have been selected from the nominations  by the Family Law Awards' judging panel, while the winners and short-list for ADR Practitioner and Family Law commentary are open to the family law community to decide.

The judging panel is made up of the heads of the three family law practitioners' associations, the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution and the Association of Lawyers for Children, along with Family Law editors and publishing executives.

The eight awards are:  

  1. Family Law Solicitor of the Year - Sponsored by 1 Garden Court
  2. Family Law Barrister of the Year - Sponsored by Class Legal
  3. Family Law Firm of the Year - Sponsored by 4 Paper Buildings
  4. Family Law Chambers of the Year
  5. Most Innovative Family Lawyer of the Year -  Sponsored by PKF Accountants and
  6. Family Law ADR Practitioner of the Year - Sponsored by 1 Garden Court
  7. Family Law Readers' Commentary Award - Sponsored by Jordan Publishing
  8. Outstanding Contribution to the field of Family Law - Sponsored by Coram Chambers

In preparation for the award ceremony, the trophies have now been made (pictured) and are now just waiting for the winners names to be engraved. The trophies were hand made in red recycled glass by artist Sue Tinkler in Winchester.
