CEPEJ adopts mediation development toolkit

Date:20 JUL 2018
Third slide
The Council of Europe European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) has adopted a series of concrete tools to help Member States to develop the use of mediation in areas – such as civil, family, penal and administrative mediation – and to support mediation actors in their daily practice.

The mediation development toolkit is aimed at evolving and adapting to different national contexts, and will be progressively completed with the addition new tools.

The CEPEJ also confirmed the roadmap of the working group on mediation which is based on a survey previously conducted by the Working Group among the Member States of the Council of Europe on the impact of the CEPEJ guidelines, in order to determine the measures which should be implemented in order to reinforce the use of mediation.
