New Family Law audio CPD podcast on forthcoming CMEC Regime

Family Law is pleased to announce the release of a new audioCPD podcast, Understanding Child Support: The New CMEC Regime.

The 34 minute podcast is presented by Rachel Spicer from 1 Hare Court chambers and makes it easier for the listener to understand and advise clients on new collection and enforcement measures introduced by the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 and the new formula for assessing child support which will be introduced in 2011. Rachel talks through some practical examples and calculations.  She also shares her ‘top tips for novices' in a downloadable document for future reference.

Rachel called was called to the bar in 2002 and practices in ancillary relief and child support work. She has represented clients in child support appeals at all levels of tribunal including the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.  She was previously a contributor to the Child's Pay Bulletin and regularly lectures on child support.

The podcast can be downloaded onto the listener's computer or MP3 player to be listened to immediately or at a more convenient time.
