Family Law launch audio CPD

Date:20 SEP 2010

audioCPDFamily lawyers are now able to gain CPD training whilst on the move thanks to the launch of Family Law audioCPD, an online library of 30 minute podcasts.

The audio programmes consist of presentations given by leading family law experts discussing topical legal issues. Each podcast can be downloaded onto the listener's computer or MP3 player to be listened to immediately or at a more convenient time.

After listening to the podcast, practitioners can complete an online assessment enabling them to gain 1 CPD point. All of the programmes are fully accredited by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, Institute of Legal Executives and Bar Standards Board. The listener can also keep track of all of their CPD points online with the Family Law CPDtracker service.

There are currently 21 different podcasts to download with more to be added in coming weeks. Each podcast falls under one of four specialisations: Agreements; Ancillary Relief; Public and Private Children Law; and Hot Topics.

Examples of the available podcasts are:

Speaking about the launch of Family Law audioCPD, Amandeep said: "In the current age of austerity and cost cutting, the face of legal CPD training is changing. Family Law audioCPD is a great opportunity for practitioners to save the cost of time out of the office by completing their CPD training on the move. At just £25 per podcast or the introductory offer of £99 for unlimited access, they also offer fantastic value for money."
