The Law Society issues guidance to assist practitioners who are closing their practice.


If things come to the worst and you find yourself faced with closing your practice, there are various regulatory requirements that must be considered.

The process for closing a practice differs depending on whether or not there is a successor practice in place and closing down a firm requires forward planning as there are numerous actions that need to be taken.
