Leading Surrey law firm Morrisons Solicitors has recruited Emma Newman from Guillaumes to join their experienced Family team.  She will join the firm on 20 August 2012.

Emma qualified in 1999 and specialises in all areas of family law, including divorce, civil partnership dissolution, resolving disputes concerning children and financial disputes for married and unmarried couples.

Commenting on her move Emma explains: "Morrisons has a great reputation for client service, with very loyal clients.  I'm delighted to join a team which has experience in all areas of family law and is able to provide straightforward practical advice."

Stephanie Owen, Head of Family, comments: "It's great to welcome such an experienced solicitor as Emma to the team.  Whilst some law firms continue to find trading conditions tough, we're growing, as witnessed by the growth of the Firm and the Family team in the last 12 months".

Emma is a member of the Law Society's family law panel and an accredited member of Resolution. She also writes articles for local and industry-specific publications.  She will be based in the firm's Camberley office.
