His Honour Judge Stephen Wildblood QC

Stephen Wildblood is the Designated Family Judge for Avon, North Somerset and Gloucestershire. Before working in that post he had been sitting as a Circuit Judge in Devon and Cornwall doing criminal, family and civil cases. He practised at the bar in family law for 27 years from chambers in Bristol, the last nine years being in silk.

Stephen has written in many works relating to Family law and frequently lectures on the subject. He has been keen to work with a team of other people to set up many initiatives in Bristol to support litigants in person and others who face involvement with the family and social justice systems.

He runs to and from court everyday in a bid to keep fit and admits to listening to appalling modern music whilst doing so, usually avoiding the temptation to sing out loud as he jogs along.
