Emma has specialised in family law for more than 10 years. She enjoys all aspects of family law work and has a particular interest in helping people to resolve their financial issues upon separation. She has helped many clients to achieve a financial settlement either through negotiation, advice during mediation or a court application, whether this be as a result of separation of divorce. She has acted for many parents in cases which involve their children, from general applications that concern who a child should live with and spend time with, right through to more complex cases where there are significant issues such as domestic violence and risk of harm to the children involved. Alongside many of these more complex cases, she has also advised clients in order to obtain orders for their protection from harm.
