'Working together?' - admissions of abuse in child protection proceedings and criminal prosecutions [2004] CFLQ 175

This article examines the impact of admissions of child abuse and considers the way in which information is exchanged between the child protection and criminal justice systems. A review of law and practice, supported by recent research findings, suggests that the acknowledged tension between the two systems increases as cases progress. Possibilities for reducing the tension are considered.
