This article considers reproductive liberty in the context of family foundation and examines the recent amendments to the guidance given to clinics on how they should screen potential parents before offering access to assisted conception. The authors also consider reproductive liberty in the light of the recent controversy surrounding pre-natal genetic diagnosis and Human Leukocyte Antigen tissue typing.
