Reproductive liberty: should the foundation of families be regulated?
Date:26 MAY 2006

Amel Alghrani and John Harris, School of Law, University of Manchester. This article considers reproductive liberty in the context of family foundation and examines the recent amendments to the guidance given to clinics on how they should screen potential parents before offering access to assisted conception. The authors also consider reproductive liberty in the light of the recent controversy surrounding pre-natal genetic diagnosis and Human Leukocyte Antigen tissue typing. See Child and Family Law Quarterly, Vol 18, No 2, 2006 for the full article.
