Parental order – International surrogacy arrangements – Unable to confer Danish citizenship and parentage upon children through US surrogacy as biological father British – Applications for UK parental orders outside the 6-month time limit – HFEA 2008, s 54(3).
Knowles J held that HFEA 2008, s 54(3) did not prevent the court making an order merely because the application was made after the expiration of the 6-month period following birth, if appropriate on the particular facts of the case.
