Practice Direction: Supplements rules 8.A1 and 8.2 to 8.2G of the Family Proceedings Rules 1991
Date:27 AUG 2009

THURS 27/08/2009 - The Practice Direction below is made by the President of the Family Division and supplements rules 8.A1 and 8.2 to 8.2G of the Family Proceedings Rules 1991.

The Family Proceedings (Amendment)(No.3) Rules 2009 adjust Rules 8.A1 and 8.2 to 8.2G of the 1991 Rules so that those rules are able to accommodate deduction order appeals.

The purpose of this Practice Direction is to give guidance regarding the application of rules 8.A1 and 8.2 to 8.2G as adjusted to accommodate deduction order appeals in relation to the following matters: information about the decision or order of CMEC which is being appealed against; the court in which the appeal notice is to be filed; and CMEC's address for service for the purposes of a deduction order appeal.

This Practice Direction came into force on 17 August 2009.
