Date:21 JUL 2006

Further to the positive evaluation of the police/family information sharing pilot that took place between 1 December 2004 and August 2005 in London, Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria, the Association of Chief Police Officers has asked all police areas from April 2006 to implement the protocol.

The evaluation report of the police/family information sharing pilot can be downloaded from the Department for Constitutional Affairs' website together with the protocols and standard forms. See http://www.dca.gov.uk/family/famfr7.htm#implempol.
