Law Society wins judicial review over family legal aid tender

The President of the Family Division has issued revised guidance on communicating with the Home Office in family proceedings.

Coventry City Council has been forced to pay £100,000 in court costs after the local authority withdrew their application to remove three children from their parents.

Birmingham City Council's children's services will be issued with a second government Improvement Notice, after a critical Ofsted report into children's services in July.

The Ministry of Justice has released court figures for April to June 2010.
