At the TIG meeting, the President welcomed the group members and briefly summarised the background to the group’s formation. The aim of the TIG is to implement the Transparency Review’s recommendations in a proportionate way utilising the expertise available within it.
The President suggested that the work be divided between four sub-groups which will proceed at different timescales. It is hoped that most of the work will be completed within 12 months. The next TIG whole group meeting will be held in March 2022. The four sub-groups are:
• press attendance and reporting
• anonymisation and publication of judgments
• data collection
• media engagement
