Memorial Service for Dame Joyanne Bracewell

A celebration of the life of Dame Joyanne Bracewell was held on 19 March 2007 at Grays Inn Hall, London in the presence of her family and a wide circle of friends. The event was attended by the Lord Chancellor, the Lord Chief Justice, senior members of the judiciary, fellow High Court judges and many family law practitioners. Sir Mark Potter, President of the Family Division, introduced tributes from Dame Heather Steel; The Hon Mrs June Rosen; Eric Davies (Clerk); Michael Redfern QC (Leader of the Northern Circuit); Gillian Marks; Mr Justice Ryder; Baroness Hale of Richmond; and Rev Roger Holloway (Preacher of Grays Inn).
