Date:16 FEB 2010

As part of the Legal Service Commission's on-going transformation programme, Family Graduated Fee claims (Claim 5's) should be sent to LSC's South Tyneside office from 1 March 2010.

Family Graduated Fee claims are for costs from a barrister for work carried out in a Family case and is submitted on a Claim 5 form.

In addition, if you are making representations against funding in any civil case, including family cases, these should also now be sent to South Tyneside as of 15 February 2010.

Representations cases are those where you wish to contact the LSC to explain why you think a funded party should no longer have funding, should no longer have funding on the basis of the merits of the case, and where you wish to investigate these issues with a view to remove funding.

Forms, correspondence and any representations cases should be sent to:

Representations should be marked as "Representations" to enable the LSC to identify and consider these cases quickly.
