LexisNexis author Jonathan Montgomery has been awarded a knighthood in the New Years Honours for services to bioethics and healthcare Law.

Professor Sir Jonathan (below) joined the Butterworths Family Law Service team in 1988, writing its monthly bulletin from then until 2006. He has been one of the general editors of BFLS since 1996 and was consulting editor on the current edition of the Halsbury volume on Medical Professions.
