The Law Society Family Law Protocol is now more easily found on its dedicated website at www.flp.lawsociety.org.uk. An authoritative set of best practice guidelines, it was fully updated, revised and extended in January 2006. Developed by the Law Society in association with Resolution, the Legal Services Commission and the Department for Constitutional Affairs, this second edition updates the Protocol with particular changes to the sections on cohabitation, domestic violence and mediation.
