A representative of the group, Tony Roe, said:

‘Members of our advisory group have recently shared growing concerns over their experiences of the court system. We are hearing anecdotal stories of cases being withdrawn from the lists at very short notice and long delays with response times from court.

We would like to hear from family law practitioners to determine how widespread such problems are. Responses will be anonymised. Respondents are not required to detail any specific information about live cases, or a specific judge’s involvement.’

Queries or concerns can be directed to Baljiit Matharu, the Family Section Product Manager at Baljit.Matharu@LawSociety.org.uk.
