Judicial Management

Date:13 MAR 2007

At the Resolution annual conference in Manchester on 10 March 2007 Mr Justice Ryder, giving the keynote address, made it clear that the judiciary were firmly in control of new practices and procedures due to be piloted over the next year, culminating in the introduction of the harmonised Family Procedure Rules in April 2008. By that date Practice Directions and a revised Protocol for care cases, together with tighter case management at all levels of court, will herald a boost to the wilting family justice system not just for this decade but into the next.
