Jordan Publishing is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted for Independent Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year award at this year's The Bookseller Industry Awards (BIA).

The BIA, now in its fourth year, will be held on 13 May 2013 at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel and will see a record 19 awards handed out. The Independent Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year award is one of two new awards launched this year.

Philip Jones, editor of The Bookseller and chair of the judges, said: 'The unchanging aim of the awards is to celebrate publishing, retailing and libraries, to provide a platform to shout about our success. As the book business, in all its many forms, changes it has never been more important to pause and reflect on what we do well.'
