International Relocation - the Debate

Anna Worwood, Partner, Manches. Since Payne v Payne in 2001 there has been concern that too much weight is given to the applicant parents wishes in relocation cases. Resolution (formerly the SFLA) has decided to place the issue at the top of its agenda for the year and will be holding a debate on the issue at the end of September 2005. Solicitor Anna Worwood considers the English way compared to that in other jurisdictions.
