The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon has appointed Her Honour Judge Corbett to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Family Judge Appointment based at West London Family Court, with effect from 1 August 2022.

Michelle Corbett, will continue to be known as Her Honour Judge Corbett. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1987. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2007, as a Circuit Judge in 2009 and authorised to act as a Judge of the High Court under s9(1) sitting in the Family Division in 2011.
