Autumn 2006's FMA Annual Conference boasted talks by England Law Commissioner Stuart Bridge on 'Cohabitation: should there be financial relief on separation', Liz Trinder on 'Working contact - what is required and how might it be developed?', Dorit Braun on 'ParentlinePlus', Nina Grunfeld on 'Life coaching - can it help your client?', and the Neil Robinson/Beverley Sayers report on 'The future of in-court mediation'. Those were followed by a choice of two from four workshops: 'Mediation and the media' (Amazon PR); 'Children in contact disputes; risks and resilience' (Gwyn Daniels); 'Legal update - key cases of the year' (Florence Terry); and 'Professional practice update' (Adrian Wright). The conference culminated with an address from Vice-President, Cherie Booth QC, and by the President of the Association, Lord Justice Wilson, who delivered his traditional final address.
