Family Proceedings (Allocation to Judiciary) Directions 2009

THURS 12/02/2009 - The President of the Family Division has issued the Family Proceedings (Allocation to Judiciary) Directions 2009.

These Directions shall come into force on Monday 16 February 2009.

These Directions apply to any family proceedings (except proceedings on appeal from an order or decision made by a magistrates' court) which are pending in a county court or which, by virtue of section 42 of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984 or of a provision of the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008, are treated as pending in a county court in the Principal Registry of the Family Division of the High Court.
