The award was presented during the Association’s Annual Conference Dinner, on Friday 9 June at The Principal Hotel in Manchester.

It commissions across a broad spectrum of legal professionals, including barristers, judges and academics, and it success has been down to the joint efforts of the Jordans journals team led by Matthias Mueller and the editor Elizabeth Walsh.

The BIALL Award recognises and rewards excellence in legal serials publishing. The judges take into consideration authority, scope of coverage, currency, layout, navigational aids, referencing, originality and value for money. 

The Legal Journals Award was established in 2001 and previous winners have included Family Law journal itself in 2009 and the New Law Journal in both 2006 and 2011.
