Family Law charity walkers nominated for best new team "award"

With only seven days to go until the Family Law team walk the Legal Walk next Monday in support of the London Legal Support Trust, the organisers have nominated editor Liz Walsh's team for the best newcomer award.

Today Family Law Newswatch launched a fundraising widget on its website homepage to make donating to the team even easier.

The team's fundraising target is £2000 and to date they have raised just over £1800 including the Gift Aid tax supplement.

There are now 225 teams and 3,800 walkers confirmed making the event will be the biggest gathering of UK lawyers ever in one place for one purpose.

Arrangements for the night have also now been announced. All walkers will receive a free drink at the end of the walk. There will also be a disco in the Knights Templar and entertainment at the Law Society including magicians and stilt walking jugglers.
