Family Case Progression Officers

According to the April 2007 edition of the DCA's Care Proceedings Programme Update, Case Progression Officers (CPOs) were introduced in six pilot courts across the country - Liverpool, Portsmouth and Leicester county courts, the Principal Registry of the Family Division, Leeds district family proceedings court and Barnet family court centre in September 2005 to test the role for a period of 12 months.
