Date:19 MAR 2009

"Families Need Fathers is extremely pleased to announce that we have been successful in our bid for a grant from The Parenting Fund, a pool of money managed by the Family and Parenting Institute on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

"The award is for a substantial sum of money and will fund an office and two members of staff based in Liverpool providing support to branches and members in the surrounding area.

"Information on the new positions and how to apply will be available via the website in the near future. If you would like to register your interest in the meantime or have any thoughts or enquiries, please email liverpool@fnf.org.uk. Also, please don't forget that there is still time to apply for our North and Midlands Regional Organiser positions. For information, please visit the Families Need Fathers website Jobs page.

"Well done to Nadja Singh, Emlyn Jones, and Marjorie Stirzaker for their help in securing this grant and allow FNF to expand its work across the country".
