Every Day Matters at CAFCASS

Noel Arnold, Fisher Meredith. The Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS) consultation paper that was launched in October 2005 captures its title from the every child matters" discourse that the government had led with in recent years. "Every Day Matters: a New Direction for CAFCASS" (2005) centres on early intervention. The bones of the consultation's proposals were set out in November [2005] Fam Law 915. Noel Arnolds article gives a general overview of the paper but in particular draws attention to aspects which might be of concern or interest to children's lawyers.
