The legal charity, the Personal Support Unit has brought together a panel of experts to discuss the rise in mental health issues in the Family Courts and how we can help.
The event, on 31 October, will explore the problems and solutions that are being put in place to help reduce the stress and anxiety of those going through the Family courts.
Sir Andrew MacFarlane will be speaking about his first year in office as President of the Family Division and the reforms that he will be putting in place to alleviate current pressures.
He will be joined by:
- Gillian Bishop from Family Law in Partnership
- Claire Heppenstall from 1GC|Family
- Jane Mahon from the PSU
The event will start with a breakfast of pastries, fruit, teas, coffees, juice and an opportunity to network.
After the speeches there will be opportunity for audience discussion and a Q and A session for the panel chaired by Simon Bruce from Farrer & Co.
