This variation of a quotation by a current Court of Appeal judge demonstrates that family and private client lawyers need to have eyes in the back of their heads when advising clients on marital contracts; and as marital contracts become more accepted and fashionable, so family and private client lawyers need to keep in mind Hague Conventions which, in truth, are little known and little quoted by English lawyers.
