Costs: the Untimely Demise of Calderbank

Robert Hush, Fisher Meredith Solicitors. Nigel Dyer gave an accomplished explanation of the new costs regime (Family Proceedings Amendment Rules 2006), at a seminar organised by the London regional committee of Resolution in February 2006. He described himself as a converted enthusiast to the new rules and while Robert Hush can understand the intention behind them, he nevertheless has some concerns which are detailed in his article.
