Care applications received by Cafcass in October increase by 7 percent

Figures released by Cafcass show that the number of care applications received in
October 2015 increased by 7% from those received in
October 2014. A total of
1,079 care applications were received.
Between
April 2014 and
March 2015 Cafcass received a total of
11,156 applications. This represents a
5% increase when compared to the same period in the previous financial year when
10,620 applications were received.
