FINANCIAL PROVISION: Berkeley v Bulliqi [2007] EWCA Civ 1101

The wife was granted permission to appeal, not because there was any issue of principle in an equal division of the matrimonial assets in circumstances in which all the assets resulted from the wife's inherited wealth, and in which there was no matrimonial acquest, but on the basis that, given the facts, the decision was so surprising that deserved a further review.
