This article explores the increasing use of AI by self-represented litigants involved in family disputes.

As legal aid diminishes and costs rise many are unable to obtain/afford representation. They are turning to AI. Whilst this has some benefits there are also significant risks. The article considers the impact on Judges and practitioners providing practical tips and a key message that AI should be used as a support tool but not a substitution for human judgment.
