What do you read my lord? Rules rules rules

Date:28 FEB 2013

Mike Hinchliffe

Principal Lawyer, Cafcass Legal, Member of the Family Procedure Rule Committee:

The publication of the Family Procedure Amendment Rules 2013 about the proportionate use of experts in family cases made me think about some of the questions about rules which keep coming up on the Cafcass Legal Helpline, and some of the more obscure corners of the rules. Something to get excited about on cold winter evenings. The new rules about experts remind us of the new post Norgrove world we are all operating in. I hope this article may be of some use to family lawyers battling the cold and the cuts.
