Basic Guidance to Good Practice in Care Proceedings across London

District Judge Richard Harper, Chair of the Public Law Outline Monitoring Group for London, has issued guidance to highlight basic requirements of good practice during the currency of care proceedings. The recommendations are intended to assist the parties, who are required to help the court further the overriding objective, to achieve and maintain consistency of good practice in the carriage of care proceedings.

The comprehensive guidance covers issues on the timetable for the child, case management, experts and the children's guardian amongst other important topics.
