On 14 February 2014, the Lord Chief Justice issued a Practice Direction on Access to Audio Recordings of Proceedings.
The Practice Direction applies to civil and family proceedings in all courts in England and Wales and is intended to clarify the practice and procedure governing access to CD or Digital Audio recordings of court proceedings.
