Seminar: Sexual Abuse and the Impact on Children

Child Concern will be hosting a day seminar entitled Sexual Abuse and the Impact on Children on Friday 18 April 2008 at Lancashire County Cricket Club.

The aim of the seminar is to focus on the impact of sexual abuse upon children. In particular, the course will look at the way the police, social services and the court deal with sexual abuse and also the therapeutic remedies that are available to abusers.

The Chair will be the Right Honourable Sir Mark Potter, President of the Family Division. Speakers at the seminar include Anthony Hayden QC, Dr David Glasgow, Consultant Psychologist, Susan McColl, Chartered Forensic Psychologist and Linda Regan, Cornerstones Project.
