23 per cent increase in private law cases received by Cafcass in July

Figures released by Cafcass show that the number of
new private law cases received in
July 2015 increased by 23% from
July 2014 levels. A total of
3,554 new cases were received.
This is slightly higher than the number of private law cases received in
June 2015, which totalled
3,466 and resulted in a
33% rise year on year.
