Family Procedure Rule Committee open meeting

Date:1 MAY 2008

The Family Procedure Rule Committee is holding an open meeting on 11 July 2008 in central London from 10am to 1.30pm. The meeting will give attendees a chance to observe the rule-making process in action.

The Family Procedure Rule Committee is a non-departmental public body set up under the Courts Act 2003 to make rules of court for use in family proceedings.

Guests at the meeting in July will be observers only and will not be able to take part in the committee's business or contribute to items on the agenda. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the meeting for guests to put pre-submitted questions to the committee.

A full committee agenda, accompanying papers and further details will be sent prior to the meeting.
