Since joining Richmond Chambers, Zarina has worked on a broad range of immigration applications and appeals including points-based system, family migration under Appendix FM and outside the Rules, settlement and EEA applications. Zarina previously worked in the immigration department of a Legal 500 top tier law firm where she gained experience in human rights claims based on family and private life, asylum, deportation, settlement and cases involving EEA free movement. She assisted with the preparation of appeals before the First-tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal, as well as judicial review applications. She successfully became accredited as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
