Victoria has a keen interest in Court of Protection work and assisted with A v A NHS Foundation Trust and B PCT [2011] EWCA Civ 7 (provision of medical treatment where there is no medical practitioner ready, willing and able to provide it) whilst a judicial assistant at the Court of Appeal. She wrote the article "Disputes Between Family and Doctors: How Far is the Court of Protection Willing to Go?" published by the Elder Law Journal and has spoken at several seminars on issues involving the Court of Protection. She is also a co-author of Dementia and the Law.
