Advisory Lawyer at the Department of Health
Prior to his appointment as Advisory Lawyer at the Department of Health, Steven was a barrister at Field Court Chambers where his legal practice covered all areas of family and public and local government law, including human rights. His experience of community care law (both adults and children), including local authorities’ duties towards persons from abroad and Court of Protection work. He advised and represents across the range of community care/social services law including mainstream adult community care, mainstream support for children and families and support for persons from abroad. Steven is a co-author of Dementia and the Law.
