Paul qualified as a solicitor in April 1972 and has been in continuous private practice since that time. In April 1972 Paul had just completed the purchase of a Nursing Home in Earl’s Court, West London. The purchaser ran into regulatory difficulties which Paul resolved under the old Public Health Act 1936.
Ridouts was launched in January 2007 and is now an established mature practice with 4 Partners. Paul writes extensively for all the leading Health and Social Care Journals, is an expert in
care home law and has been author and editor of leading practice Handbooks on the regulation of care (Registered Homes and Care Standards).
Paul is regarded as one of the most experienced advisers for the Health and Social Care sector.
