I am a Family Law Barrister and was called to the bar in 2005. I have developed a practice in Matrimonial Finance and Children Act work with a particular interest in the former. I am also interested in Trust Law in which claims by unmarried cohabitants are made in relation to property. Beyond this I also undertake other Chancery work such as Inheritance Act work and contested probate.

I am qualified to take instructions directly from members of the public http://www.barcouncil.org.uk/about/publicaccess/ and am trained in Collaborative Law, a new discipline aimed at reducing the negative effects of relationship breakdown by working together to achieve a beneficial, child focused, separation.

Specialties: Advocacy, drafting pleadings (claims), negotiation, advising upon the law and the merits of a case, Collaborative law, Direct Access.
