Geraint Probert

Barrister | Guildhall Chambers
Geraint is an employment and discrimination barrister. He undertook a specialist pupillage with Guildhall Chambers’ Employment and Discrimination team before fully qualifying and joining the team as a member. He acts for claimants and respondents in the employment tribunal and the civil courts.

Geraint's practice extends to all areas of employment tribunal litigation and has been instructed in complex and multi-week cases. He regularly advises on procedure, discrimination and remedies. His recent cases include race discrimination, maternity rights,  redundancy, unfair dismissal, TUPE, whistleblowing detriment and reasonable adjustments. He has worked on injunction proceedings and professional negligence claims.

Geraint has a background in charities, having worked for Citizens Advice Bureau and Speakeasy Advice Centre as a specialist advisor and advocate. He provides training and lectures on employment and discrimination topics, most recently appearing in a mock tribunal training session for CIPD.
